There are a few reasons why it may be beneficial to hire a videographer with online development and coding skills.
First of all, having these skills can allow the videographer to create interactive and immersive video experiences for their clients. For example, they may be able to create videos with embedded forms or quizzes, or videos that change based on the user's interactions. This can make the video more engaging and effective at achieving its goals.
Second, a videographer with coding skills may be able to integrate their video content more seamlessly into a website or web application. This can be especially useful if the video is part of a larger online campaign or if it is intended to be featured prominently on a website.
Finally, a videographer with coding skills may be able to optimize their video content for the web in terms of file size, resolution, and other technical considerations. This can help ensure that the video loads quickly and plays smoothly on a wide range of devices.
By using API & Javascript we can also do things like this, including the widget.
These are a few of the options available when embedding a video to your site:
(see videos below)
Auto-play Video
Custom Thumbnail from Still-frame
Custom Size
Loop Video
Auto-mute
Auto-Hide Play Bar
Disable Play Controls
Disable Fullscreen
Modest Branding
Disable Keyboard Controls
Force Closed Captions
Enable Advanced Privacy Mode
Enable JavaScript API
Auto-Subscribe
Not properly embedding your videos may cause your site to run slower & it's often better to host your videos on your platform directly. Adding an Intersection Observer API starts loading the <iframe> once it's 50% in view. 'onPlayerReady' functions aren't needed with this approach, as the YouTube API script is loaded dynamically when the video is in view. This is otherwise known as 'lazy load.
Here are three services which I offer to your community:
Event coverage: Many communities host events, such as festivals, parades, and fundraisers, that could benefit from professional videography. I am able to offer a way to document these events for the community, creating a visual record of the occasion.
Promotional videos: I can create promotional videos for local businesses or organizations to help them advertise their products or services. These videos could be shared on social media or played at local events to attract new customers or members.
Training videos: I have worked with local schools, community centers, municipalities and other organizations to create training videos on a variety of topics. These videos could be used to teach new skills or provide information on important topics such as health and safety.
